I am bilingual writer in English and Serbian, currently finalizing my first novel about growing up in the Balkans in the 1990s and the Yugoslav diaspora. The novel is inspired by my experiences between my native home of Belgrade and my adopted home of California, where I arrived as a student and never left. In addition to fiction, I also write about travel, culture, and innovation. I graduated from the University of Belgrade and completed my PhD at the University of California, Los Angeles.
